Privacy Policy
Effective October 20, 2026
Frog Publications ("Frog Publications," "we," "us") publishes classroom and family learning resources for PreK–5th grade. This policy explains what personal information we collect through frog.com, our Daily Drops app, our emails, and our catalogs; how we use and share it; and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us.
- Orders: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, school or organization name, purchase order details, and what you buy. Payment card details go directly to our payment processor; we do not store card numbers.
- Accounts: your name, email, and password if you create a frog.com account.
- Daily Drops app: the name and email of the educator or parent who uses the app, the books and licenses they have access to, and basic app activity such as sign-ins and pages printed, which we use to provide access and enforce license terms.
- Communications: what you send us by email, phone, live chat, contact forms, or surveys (for example, "How did you hear about us?" after checkout).
- Newsletter: your name and email if you sign up for our emails.
Information collected automatically. When you visit frog.com we and our partners collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, products viewed or added to your cart, the site that referred you, and approximate location (city or ZIP code) derived from your IP address. We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to do this. When you scan a QR code in one of our catalogs, we record the time of the scan, your device type, and approximate location, and we may connect a later order to that scan.
Information from other sources. To send catalogs to schools, we may use publicly available business contact information for educators and school administrators, such as names, job titles, and school or district addresses.
How we use information
- To process and deliver orders, provide digital access through the Daily Drops app, and handle returns and customer service.
- To send order confirmations, account and license notices (such as renewal reminders), and, if you choose, newsletters and offers.
- To understand how our website and catalogs are used, measure our advertising, and improve our products and site.
- To show our products to people who may be interested, including through advertising on other sites and apps.
- To prevent fraud, keep our services secure, and comply with law.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information for money. We share information only as described here:
- Service providers who run parts of our business for us, such as our e-commerce platform (BigCommerce), payment processors, shipping carriers, email and newsletter services, live chat, and website hosting. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- School purchasing platforms you choose to order through (for example, district procurement or punchout systems), to complete those orders.
- Advertising and analytics partners, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, and OpenAI (ChatGPT ads). These partners may receive information such as pages you visit, products you view or buy, your device and IP address, and, for purchases, the order amount and an encrypted (hashed) version of your email address, so they can measure our ads and show our products to interested people. Under some state laws this counts as "selling" or "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising. See "Your choices" below to opt out.
- Legal and safety reasons, such as complying with law, responding to lawful requests, or protecting our rights and customers.
- Business transfers, if our business is sold or merged, as part of that transaction.
Your choices
- Do Not Sell or Share: you can opt out of the advertising and analytics sharing described above on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. When you opt out, those tools stop loading in your browser. Your choice is saved in a cookie in that browser, so please opt out on each browser or device you use.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out.
- Do Not Track: some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is no common standard for how websites should respond to it, our site does not change its behavior when it receives a Do Not Track signal. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described above.
- Emails: every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. We will still send messages about your orders and licenses.
- Cookies: you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as the cart and checkout, need cookies to work.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we have about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. To make a request, email customerservice@frog.com or call (800) 777-3764. We will verify your request using information we already have, such as your email address and order details, and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Children
Our products are designed for use with children, but frog.com and the Daily Drops app are intended for parents, teachers, and school staff. Children do not create accounts, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Schools and student privacy
The Daily Drops app is used by teachers, school staff, and parents. Students do not create accounts or sign in, and we do not collect student names, student records, or other student personal information through the app or our website. School and district purchases are handled using the business contact and billing information the school provides.
How long we keep information
We keep order, license, and account records for as long as needed to provide our products, support customers, and meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements. We keep other information only as long as it is useful for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections on our site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Other websites
Our site may link to other websites and marketplaces, such as Amazon or social media. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
